Closed Wound Drainage Trocar is available
in various sizes like FG-6, FG-8, FG-10, FG-12, FG-14, FG-16, FG-18, FG-20,
FG-22, FG-24, FG-26 and FG-28 in Barbed and Threaded connections for silicon
drain. Our wound drainage trocars are made of stainless steel that meet ASTM
F-899 and ISO 7153-1. All our product are single use or one patient-use
device only.

Trocar
with barbed connectors are used as portals to pass laparoscope and terminal
operative instrumentation into living beings for surgery. These trocars
ensure that the retention force on tissue is broadly & uniformly
distributed in the affected area.
Advantages:
- Prevents distortion of the tissue & preserves blood flow in the
engaged area
- Minimizes scarring and necrosis of tissue
The connector includes :
- An elongated body & a pointed end that facilitates insertion of
connector into tissue
- Barbs that makes it easier to insert the connector in tissue. These
are also generally rigid in opposite directions to hold connector in the
tissue.
Application :
It can be manually inserted into the tissue of patients or can be inserted
by using an inserting device, which is retracted after connector is put in
place.
